Moët & Chandon champagne releases its 2012 ‘Grand Vintage’

Moet & Chandon’s newest champagne released is its 74^th vintage release dubbed the ‘Grand Vintage’. The rare and unique champagne rises above the problems presented by the 2012 growing season and provides a mature complexity, expressing the Moët & Chandon Cellar Master’s personal interpretation of the year

Evoking the transition from spring to summer, it is gentle yet fresh and balances providing harmony in flavor and texture. A blend of 33% Pinot Noir, 25% Meunier and 41% Chardonnay, the champagne has been aged at least five years in cellars and at least six months after disgorging.

With hits of green, the bright pale yellow provides floral sweet notes with the scents of fresh nuts and hazelnuts along with fresh ripe stonefruit.

Containing 12.50% alcohol by volume, the champagne is best when served at 10-12°C. Good to drink from now until 2025, the bottle should be stored in a dark place away from vibrations and kept between 8-10°C.
