Last night, January 3rd, UTOPIA and The Last Showgirl cast and filmmakers, joined by family and friends, celebrated their 2025 Golden Globe Nominations at The Hollywood Roosevelt in the hotel’s stunning Johnny Grant Suite and rooftop patio. The Last Showgirl received two 2025 Golden Globe nominations celebrated at the January 3rd soiree ahead of the 82nd Golden Globe Awards, which took place on January 5th for Best Actress in a Motion Picture – Drama, for Pamela Anderson, and Best Original Song for ‘Beautiful That Way’ by Miley Cyrus, Lykke Li and Andrew Wyatt.

The film’s star and nominated actress Pamela Anderson was honored at the intimate event on January 3rd which was attended by The Last Showgirl Director Gia Coppola, Producer Robert Schwartzman, Writer Kate Gersten, and The Last Showgirl actress Billie Lourd, with husband Austen Rydell. On hand at the celebration was legendary director Francis Ford Coppola, Talia Shire, Matthew Shire, Beverly D’Angelo, Simon Rex, Golden Globe Nominated Netflix’ The Gentleman star Harry Goodwins, Artist/Photographer Zoey Grossman, Paramount Plus’ Lioness star Laysla De Olivera, Actor Jonathan Keltz, Actor Andrew Matarazzo, Actress/Model Marta Pozzan, Actress Caroline Caliri, Actress/Producer Diana Madison, TV Host Madison Brodsky, Actress Argjira Berisha, Actress Maia Kai, Actress Claire Wildley, Actress Sophia La Porta, Actor Mason Alexander, plus many other notable film and entertainment industry attendees.
Guests at the exclusive affair sipped on El Cristiano Premium Tequila, highlighted with three specialty cocktails; The Last Showgirl Spicy Margarita, Golden Espresso Martini featuring their award-winning Reposado, and The Pamela Paloma featuring their signature Blanco, along with Peroni Nastro Azzurro Italian beer. A premium wine selection was served by The Hollywood Roosevelt paired with a lavish dessert and pastry spread.

The Last Showgirl also stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Jason Schwartzman, Kiernan Shipka, Brenda Song and Dave Bautista. Utopia is a New York and Los Angeles-based film distribution, sales, and production company co-founded by filmmaker Robert Schwartzman and Cole Harper, the producers behind The Last Showgirl. The Last Showgirl, written by Kate Gersten, and directed by Gia Coppola, portrays a seasoned showgirl realizing she must plan for her future after her show abruptly closes after a 30-year run in Las Vegas. The film officially releases wide on January 10th.
