Amy Flourry is leaving her role as director of operations at $4.3 billion AUM Rehmann Financial to join Constellation Wealth Partners as a director on the firm’s advisory team.
As Director, Advisory, Flourry will work across the firm’s 15 advisory team partners on data and integration. She’ll report to Lisa Crafford, a managing director and the firm’s Head of Advisory.
“Her deep experience in the wealth management industry, breadth of knowledge, and extensive network will be an invaluable asset to Constellation and our advisory firm partners,” Crafford said. “Amy will work closely with each of our partner firms and the advisory team to drive growth, efficiency and the achievement of each firm’s strategic goals.”
Flourry (who previously spoke about Rehmann’s tech stack in an ongoing Wealth Management series) entered the industry in 1998 and joined the accounting firm in 2001. She led operational strategy and planning for the firm’s wealth management division, including business development, budgeting and M&A integration, according to LinkedIn, and was instrumental in developing the firm’s broker/dealer practice.
Additionally, she served as chair of the Rehmann Women’s Initiative Network Council, having been a member since 2012.
Former Emigrant Partners CEO Karl Heckenberg founded Constellation in 2023 as a private equity firm focused on staking wealth managers in exchange for operational support. The firm has made several minority investments in wealth firms since its founding, including Merchant Investment Management, Rise Growth Partners (founded by former United Capital CEO Joe Duran) and Elevation Point.
Last July, Constellation took a minority stake in Merit Financial Advisors, a $20 billion Atlanta-based RIA, in what is expected to be a five-year partnership, according to Merit CEO Rick Kent. Constellation took over minority stakes from Wealth Partners Capital Group and several other investors led by HGGC’s Aspire Holdings.
Earlier this year, Constellation staked BIP Wealth, another Atlanta-based RIA with about $5.5 billion in client assets, to bolster the firm’s M&A pipeline in the region and beyond; according to Heckenberg, the BIP team “checked all the boxes,” citing the firm’s “impressive” organic growth trajectory.
The firm also made minority investments in the $4.5 billion firm Daymark Wealth Partners and in the $2 billion Greenwood Gearhart in December and November of last year, respectively.
