This new development combines a new hotel and gym which promises to blend “the science of fitness [and] the art of travel” at 35 Hudson Yards. Its first hotel (rooms start at $700/night) is in a 72-story tower with interior spaces by David Rockwell/Rockwell Group and exterior spaces by Ken Smith Workshop and Rockwell Group. The hotel itself will feature 212 rooms, including 48 suites, as well as a Joyce Wang-designed Equinox Fitness Club and Spa.

Each room is designed for optimal sleep with dark features along with total soundproofing and a total-blackout window system.
