"We are still monitoring our Advisor Summit, which is scheduled for the week of April 20th in Nashville, and will make a decision soon that will best suit the needs of our advisors and national safety," she said.
The Finanical Planning Association of Puget Soundis postponing its symposium slated for March 26 at the Washington State Convention Center. A new date has not yet been decided.
All Raymond James conferences have been canceled or postponed until at least April 30, including their national conference Elevate, which had been set for April 20 in Orlando, Fla.
Retirement and Longevity Summit in New Orleans, La., scheduled for March 22 - 24 has been rescheduled to July 26 - 27, according to the event website. Room reservations for the March dates were automatically canceled, confirmed Tyrone Ross, Jr., a speaker at the event.
Envestnet Advisor Summit in Austin, Texas, scheduled for April 29 - 30 has been canceled and will not be rescheduled, according to a spokesperson. Virtual events are being considered to replace some of the content that would have been presented at the conference and will be announced in the coming weeks.
International Assets Advisory National Sales Conference in Orlando, Fla., scheduled for April 29 - May 3, a mandatory event for affiliated professionals, has been postponed, according to Ed Cofrancesco, president and CEO. A new date has not be decided, but organizers are hoping to hold the event in September. A virtual conference is being considered.
The Finanical Planning Association's Retreat 2020 is still slated to take place May 4 - 7 in Cedar Creek, Texas. Organizers say they are monitoring the situation.
The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors 2020 National Spring Conferenceis still slated to be held May 6 - 9 at the Hyatt Regency Denver at the Colorado Convention Center. Organizers say there will have extra hand sanitizing stations in place, and that the Hyatt Regency has a disinfectant procedure in place for twice daily cleaning during the event.
