Here is a sampling of the week’s events and how to tune in (all times are Eastern). Note that events are subject to change after publication.

Raise a toast to the artist Frida Kahlo on what would be her 113th birthday (though Ms. Kahlo, a passionate Communist, was known to claim that her birthday coincided with the start of the Mexican Revolution, which began in the fall of 1920). The National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington celebrates the painter at this virtual happy hour, which includes a look at Ms. Kahlo’s work and personal letters.

Grab your apron and roll up your sleeves for Christina Tosi’s baking club. Ms. Tosi, the pastry chef and founder of Milk Bar (which The Times called a “dessert empire”), hosts a daily live baking club on her Instagram. She’s previously revealed her secrets to making the perfect cheese soufflé (hint: They “wait for no one”) and shared tips for cake truffles and dozens of other recipes.

Take a virtual tour of the Musée du Louvre in Paris. The majority of its galleries reopen to the public this week, but for those unable to make it in person, an exhibition on its website called “Founding Myths: From Hercules to Darth Vader” chronicles how artists of all kinds have breathed new life into ancient tales. Or get an eyeful of the Mona Lisa — either in VR or through 360-degree video — with the free Louvre app.
