&Partners Adds Two More Wells Fargo Teams

#Lifestyle Wealth

&Partners, a St. Louis-based hybrid broker/dealer launched by David Kowach, the former president and CEO of Wells Fargo Advisors, has added two advisor teams this week, both from Wells Fargo Advisors.

The firm has welcomed Gerardi Wealth Management, a Boca Raton, Fla.-based team with $827 million in pre-hire assets under management. The team is led by Vince Gerardi, founder and managing director, who was with the wirehouse for 20 years, and Tyler Gunderson, managing director and private wealth advisor.

They’re joined by Rich Morgenstern, managing director, private wealth advisor; David Willis, practice director of operations; Deb Passalacqua, senior relationship manager; and Paul Maldonado, client service associate.

The team provides wealth management services to individuals and multi-generational families.

&Partners has also added Arrowhead Private Wealth, an Austin-based team with $728 million in pre-hire AUM, from Wells Fargo Advisors. The firm was founded by managing directors Craig Wingrove, Ann Connolly and Trey Wolslager, and was with Wells Fargo for four years. They’re joined by Aaron Connolly, private wealth advisor; Shannon Simar, team director of operations; and Tina Neveraz, senior client relationship manager.

They focus on serving business owners and entrepreneurs, corporate executives and professionals, retirees and pre-retirees, and multigenerational families across the Texas Hill Country.

This follows news earlier this month that &Partners had reached 100 advisor practices, approximately $50 billion in pre-hire assets and $350 million in revenue. The Mannon Financial Group, a Clayton, Mo.-based team, became the 100th team to join, transitioning from Wells Fargo’s private client channel. That firm was founded by Elizabeth Mannen Berges. In fact, 30% of the practices that have joined &Partners were founded by women.

In recent months, Kowach has had much success luring advisors from his former firm, including Four Corners Wealth, a Russellville, Ark., team with a pre-transition AUM of $769 million, and Tuckaway Capital, a Richmond, Va., team.

Kowach and co-founders Kristi Mitchem and John Alexander have aggressive growth plans for the next three years, with a target of 150 teams, $120 billion in assets and $800 million in revenue.

“We are building a firm designed to meet advisors and clients where they are, without compromise,” Mitchem said in a statement. “At bigger firms, policies often prioritize control over client benefit. Our model is designed for agility and client value creation, ensuring advisors can do what’s right without unnecessary barriers.”
