Osaic, which has recently lost several affiliated advisors to LPL Financial, announced that a $170 million firm of three financial advisors has changed affiliations in the other direction.
Ever Wealth, based in Auburn, Ind., has joined Osaic’s network in alignment with Affiliated Advisors, an Osaic office of supervisory jurisdiction. Ever Wealth was founded by partners Nick Scheumann, Mark VandeVelde and Andy Smith, who switched to the Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Osaic broker/dealer with two support staff members.
“The connection to the Osaic leadership team materialized quickly and felt authentic, embodying the type of genuine partnership we were seeking,” Smith said in a statement.
Affiliated Advisors is led by Osaic national advisory board member Rita Robbins. It works with firms such as Ever Wealth on guidance, resources and connections to Osaic’s advisor network. Kristen Kimmell, executive vice president of business development of Osaic, said in a statement that Osaic would provide the firm “with the tools, resources and flexibility they need to meet their clients’ needs and realize their long-term vision for Ever Wealth.”
Advisors Representing $275M In Assets Join LPL RIA Channel
LPL, meanwhile, announced three advisor adds from Ameriprise this week, representing a total of $275 million in client assets.
Larry Hubbard, Craig Conner and Jade Maasch are now part of LPL’s broker/dealer, registered investment advisor and custodial platforms.
The advisors are longtime colleagues who have rebranded from Ameriprise affiliate Alliance Financial Partners to Legacy Premier Wealth Management with the move to LPL. They are based out of Greeley, Colo. and Cheyenne, Wyo.
After reviewing the landscape of options, the advisors chose LPL to “have the flexibility to grow the practice in a way that will be seamless and non-disruptive for clients and our staff,” Hubbard said in a statement. “LPL does not offer proprietary investment products, which allows us to provide the products and services our clients need.”
Pure Financial, Backed By Lee and Emigrant, Picks Up $567M RIA
Pure Financial Advisors, a $7.4 billion RIA with backing from Lee Equity Partners and Emigrant Partners, has added a Washington-based firm to its network.
Personal Investment Management, whose latest Form ADV lists $567 million in client assets, will join Pure Financial with its team of six, led by CEO Christopher Reedy. The firm’s client base includes a specialization in working with employees in the Washington state higher education system, as the original founder, Frank Paustain, got his start by managing the finances of colleagues at Bellevue Community College.
San Diego-based Pure said the team will expand its footprint in the Seattle area in terms of financial, tax and investment planning. It received equity backing by Lee Equity in 2021 and Emigrant Partners in 2020 and noted it will announce “similar deals in coming months.”
“The combination of Pure’s organic and inorganic growth strategies is one of the most purposeful in our industry,” Jenny Souza, president and CEO of Emigrant Partners, said in a statement.
